My show and go car is a 1967 Camaro SS. She has a 383 small block Chevy stroker engine with over 600 horsepower. The powertrain includes a 671 Weiand blower with a Turbo 400 trans and a nine-inch Ford differential/rear axle.

Gary Lindenmayer found this 1968 Rally Sport Camaro while working one day. He contacted the owner and shortly thereafter, purchased this classic. The car sat in his garage for about a year, and then it was sent to the body shop to have all the bondo removed. It received some fresh sheet metal, to include fenders, valances, and a hood from Classic Industries. He had the car painted and installed a 350 cid, 300 hp motor coupled to a TH350, feeding the torque to a 12-bolt rear end. Then he moved to the interior, practically replacing everything with restoration parts purchased from Classic Industries. His Camaro can been seen cruising the streets of Southern California, at least when he is not working on his next Chevy restoration.

Thanks for all the information you guys have given me. Here's a picture of our car, a 1967 Camaro with a LS1, a M22 four-speed manual Muncie transmission, with the power to the road via a 3.73:1 Posi. The car is stock SS except for the engine, which is pumping about 465 HP. The car has a folding rear seat with white interior. It was bought in Canada two years ago after many hours of negotiation.

This car started off as two cars. Cutting one apart with a blow-torch was half the fun. It took six years to rebuild this car with it's original 396 (first year in a production car). It was home built with a sandblasted and painted frame. I've recently added the 20" wheels. Check out my wife's 1957 Pickup with the Louis Vuitton accents.

Alonzo loves his 1970 Chevy truck because of the engine inside; he built it with his late father. Overhaulin' gave it a rebuild, along with the rest of the ride. The hideout for this adventure was Classic Industries. Chris and A.J. brought the truck to Chip and the gang. This happened as Alonzo was returning home from abroad; he's a Marine Sergeant, and if that wasn't special enough, Alonzo's wife, insider Nicole, is ALSO a Marine Sergeant.

I bought this truck off my cousin who had fixed it up and drove it for eight years. Since then we redid everything, new paint, new wood treatment in back, custom interior with Louis Vuitton accents, and power everything. The 20” wheels are supported by a 1972 Chevy half-ton front clip.

It is a 1965 Chevy II 400 hardtop with new quarters, trunk, and fenders from Classic Industries as well as the complete interior kit. Much of the small trim pieces and chrome have been purchased from Classic as well. It has a 355 small block with 11.5:1 compression and dart heads, with an Edelbrock air gap intake and Holley 670 four barrel carb. A B&M TH350 transmission with 10 bolt Eaton posi rear end transfers all that power quite well. It has coil over suspension front and rear with four link in the back. There are disc brakes in the front. It uses Hooker fenderwell headers and a three-inch exhaust system. The Chevy II is lowered around 2-1/2 inches all around on weld wheels.

My Firebird was built in Norwood, Ohio. The original color was Verduro Green. She sports a power top, power disc brakes, rally gauges, standard interior with a wood grain steering wheel, and dash face. The engine's backed by a Turbo 400 transmission, 2,800-rpm stall converter, with all that torque transferred to 3.42 gears stuffed in a 10-bolt rear end that was donated from a 79 Trans Am. The engine is the factory, numbers matching 400 that has been stroked & bored to 468 cubic inches of V8 power. The hydraulic roller cams have .623 degrees of lift and .240 duration. The Edelbrock cylinder heads and intake have been ported. There's also a beaudacious 950 cfm Holley four-barrel carb, two-inch Doug's headers, forged steel rods, forged pistons and nitrided crank in the mix for this prodigious mill. As far as the numbers go, the engine has 11.0:1 compression, makes 600-horsepower and 640-lb.-ft. of torque on 91 octane pump fuel. The paint scheme is the LeMans Blue hue from a 2006 Corvette.
