Let's say you have a 1969 Chevy Yenko Nova or are about to purchase a 2024 SVE Stage III Yenko/SC Camaro, and you need a super tough truck on the occasions that you don't want to drive your rare and approaching priceless American muscle car. 2024 SVE Yenko/SC Camaro - 4 Supercar Versions - a Great Send Off!

A car as iconic as the Chevrolet Camaro deserves a fitting and fond farewell. In June of 2023, GM announced that sixth generation Camaro production will end with the 2024 model year. As the number one GM Specialty Vehicle Manufacturer in the United States, Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) produces the limited edition Yenko Camaro/SC. SVE announced that they will produce three very limited edition Yenko Camaro/SC models for the 2024 Camaro. The 1,500-horsepower version Stage III variant will be SVE's ultimate Yenko Camaro/SC road warrior and track terror.

Upcoming Event: Don Yenko's Muscle Cars at the Museum

If you love classic cars as much as we do, the name Yenko should certainly ring a bell. Back in 1957, a Chevy dealership in Pennsylvania developed an in-house performance shop with famed racecar driver Don Yenko at the helm. Yenko and his crew went on to build many legendary high-performance vehicles, including the iconic 1969 Yenko/SC Camaro pictured above. To honor and commemorate this legacy, Charity Motor Club has put together a unique event on Saturday, July 30th, 2022 at the Saratoga Auto Museum in Saratoga Springs, New York. Classic Industries is proud to sponsor this upcoming event.

1970 Nova - Custom Yenko Tribute

Ever since its first use on modified vehicles in the 1960s, the name Yenko has represented pushing the limits of speed. Yenko took performance-oriented cars like the Camaro and Nova and added even more horsepower to the mix, resulting in vehicles that remain legendary to this day. However, original Yenko cars are extremely rare, and survivors carry six-figure price tags. This has prompted some enthusiasts to modify their cars with Yenko graphics and other affordable nods to this iconic heritage.

Yenko Corvette on duPont Registry Cover!

Whether it’s luxury homes, plush yachts, or one-of-a-kind supercars, the duPont Registry features the exclusive; the top of the heap, the crème de la crème. The Registry has featured SVE cars before, when the Yenko/SC® 800hp Camaro was featured in the February 2017 issue of the duPont Registry, so, imagine seeing the Yenko/SC® Corvette on the cover of such an august publication. Not that we’re surprised; because the Yenko/SC® Corvette is a top-notch supercar, so it’s only fitting to be counted among such an elite class of vehicles, especially the ones on the cover—Dodge Demon, Plymouth Superbird, and Yenko/SC® Corvette.

There have been many cars produced under the Yenko name: Camaro, Nova, Stinger (Corvair), but never an official Corvette. Yes, there have been many Corvettes sold through the Yenko dealership, and some may have even been specially tuned at that location, or may even sport a Yenko badge, but there has never been an official Yenko/SC® Corvette ever produced, until now.
