Larry Wikert, of Riverside, California, likes to turn heads. So, when it came time to repaint his prized 1957 Bel Air, Larry chose a red, white, and blue color scheme that's certainly eye-catching. When this unique hot-rodded '57 pulled into our Showroom parking lot, we simply had to go outside and learn more about it.

The term resto-mod is a portmanteau or blend of the words "restoration" and "modification". As you might imagine, resto-modded vehicles run the gamut from lightly modified classic cars to vehicles which have had almost every component replaced with modern parts. The beauty of a resto-mod is that you may not know which category the vehicle falls into at first glance—it can still look like a classic, even if it performs like a brand-new car.

Whether it's a 1967 or a 2016, we love Camaro models of every model year and generation. So, when we saw this tastefully modified 2011 Camaro convertible pull into our Showroom parking lot, we wanted to get a closer look. It turns out that the owners of this car—Claude and Gayle Lynn, of Rapid City, South Dakota—have driven it over 1,300 miles to end up here in southern California.

Unsurprisingly, many members of our staff here at Classic Industries are serious car enthusiasts. By day, we help customers with their project vehicles, and by night, we go home to work on our own. So, when a customer rolls up to our showroom in a nice car, we always try to go check it out. You'll often find our employees peering out the windows to see what just rolled into The Parking Lot.

One of our favorite things about classic Mopar cars is their unabashed use of bright, head-turning colors. These cars were not afraid to show off their "in your face" attitude, with famous High Impact colors such as Sublime, Vitamin C, Top Banana, and Plum Crazy. There's nothing subtle about a roaring V8, flashy chrome, and vibrant paint.

When restoring a classic car, there are plenty of paths to choose. You can build it into an aggressive custom, add modern touches to make a reliable daily-driver, or simply restore it to exact original specifications. The third option is what Robert Falcone, of Huntington Beach, California, chose for his 1964 Chevy Nova.

Seeing a beautifully-restored classic Camaro always makes us smile, because we know that it took a lot of hard work to get it looking brand new again.
