A classic car doesn't necessarily have to be a certain age to qualify as "classic". A modern vehicle can be a classic in its own right, as long as it develops a die-hard following that will last for generations to come. With a 6.2 LS3 V8 engine and six-speed manual transmission, this 2014 Camaro SS is a modern take on the American muscle tradition. This car belongs to Bob Castro, of Huntington Beach, California. Bob moved to California from Hawaii, and purchased this Camaro as his daily-driver vehicle shortly afterward.

Be it your ’57 Bel Air, or Hemi Road Runner, classic vehicles have become more than just mere transportation…they’re investments. While some have jokingly referred to the full-size Chevy coupes and sedans of the late '60s and early '70s as "land yachts", no one can deny that these sleek cruisers exude style. The 1967 Chevy Caprice pictured here belongs to Mike Forster, of Fountain Valley, California. Believe it or not, this car is almost entirely unrestored. Mike's uncle purchased the car new from the dealer, and put just 48,000 miles on the car since then.

The Registry has featured SVE cars before, when the Yenko/SC^® 800hp Camaro was featured in the February 2017 issue of the duPont Registry, so, imagine seeing the Yenko/SC^® Corvette on the cover of such an august publication. Not that we’re surprised; because the Yenko/SC^® Corvette is a top-notch supercar, so it’s only fitting to be counted among such an elite class of vehicles, especially the ones on the cover—Dodge Demon, Plymouth Superbird, and Yenko/SC^® Corvette.

There have been many cars produced under the Yenko name: Camaro, Nova, Stinger (Corvair), but never an official Corvette. Yes, there have been many Corvettes sold through the Yenko dealership, and some may have even been specially tuned at that location, or may even sport a Yenko badge, but there has never been an official Yenko/SC^® Corvette ever produced, until now.

Life has many turning points, and we often make decisions only to wonder what might have been if we had chosen a different path. Such was the case with the sale of this 1971 Camaro, now owned by David Kline, of Lakewood, California.

Back in 2003, the car's previous owner was unsure if he should sell it, but he eventually settled on the decision to let it go. David took this opportunity to purchase the then-rough Camaro as a new project, but as the former owner handed over the keys, he already felt a pang of regret.

The 2010-Up Camaro is more popular now than when it was first introduced in 2010. Perfectly blending the modern with the classic, the 5^th and 6^th generation Camaros benefit from a large, but diverse ownership. Like any other enthusiasts, the latest generation of F-Bodies owners run the gamut from mild to wild when it comes to fixing up their rides. As the recognized leader in restoration parts, Classic Industries is always the go-to place for classic Camaros. The 1958 Chevrolet Apache is a striking design, and a marked departure from the 1957 truck model that preceded it. With dual headlamps, a reshaped wider grille, and an all-new fleetside bed design, the 1958 pickups looked sleeker than ever.

This 1958 Chevy Apache restomod project belongs to Troy and Kimber Barr, of Huntington Beach, California. It retains the distinctive original styling, but with several modern twists that have made it a real head-turner. Believe it or not, the couple tells us it was their first real project vehicle.

Every classic car owner we meet has a specific reason for owning and restoring his or her vehicle. Unlike a new car, you can't simply drive to your local dealership and purchase a classic with the exact options you're looking for. John Hoisington, of Anaheim, California, built his 1955 Chevy pickup truck in memory of his mother. She passed away in 2010 as a result of cancer, and he restored his truck to honor her memory. He also uses the vehicle to spread the word about cancer awareness and early detection — certainly a noble cause.

Since the company's inception in 1976, Classic Industries has always been forging ahead to provide much-needed restoration parts for classic cars and trucks. The Classic Industries product line started with carpets for the first-generation Camaro, but it certainly didn't stop there.
