The latest season of Speed TV's Car Warriors came to a strong finish, thanks to help from Classic Industries. Car Warriors challenges two of the country's most talented teams to take identical project cars from derelict to finished build within an intense time limit.

A Carbon Fiber Show Car Built to Race

The Spectre Performance Carbon Camaro, a heavily modified 1970 model, was designed as a Pro Touring machine to debut at SEMA. However, unlike many vehicles displayed at SEMA, the Carbon Camaro was not merely a showpiece.

Once upon a time, one of Chrysler's wheel manufacturers came up with a cast aluminum wheel design that drew inspiration from magnesium wheels used on mid sixties Cobras. It was called the Cast Center Road Wheel and was offered as an option on various 1969 Mopar models under Sales Code W23.

Unfortunately, at that time, aluminum casting was a recent innovation and the process still had some issues. Some of the later development tests would show that the W23 wheels had a tendency to loosen the lug nuts, allowing the wheels to come off.

Dan Wheldon passed away in a massive 15-car crash over the weekend. The hearts and minds of everyone here at Classic Industries go out to the friends and family he left behind.

"What happened to your floor?" is a question familiar to F-body owners. The catalytic converter hump in the right floor pan, just in front of the seat, has puzzled fans of symmetry and warmed the legs of passengers since 1974. Owners of (smog exempt) 2nd gen vehicles can replace their floor with the 70-73 version to delete the hump and gain valuable leg room, while 3rd and 4th gen owners are left to their own devices.
