2014 Camaro SS - A Custom Daily-Driver

A classic car doesn't necessarily have to be a certain age to qualify as "classic". A modern vehicle can be a classic in its own right, as long as it develops a die-hard following that will last for generations to come. That's why at Classic Industries, we believe in supporting every generation of the Chevy Camaro. From 1967 to 2017 and beyond, the Camaro has always been an icon of American performance.

With a 6.2 LS3 V8 engine and six-speed manual transmission, this 2014 Camaro SS is a modern take on the American muscle tradition. This car belongs to Bob Castro, of Huntington Beach, California. Bob moved to California from Hawaii, and purchased this Camaro as his daily-driver vehicle shortly afterward.

Yenko Corvette on duPont Registry Cover!

Whether it’s luxury homes, plush yachts, or one-of-a-kind supercars, the duPont Registry features the exclusive; the top of the heap, the crème de la crème. The Registry has featured SVE cars before, when the Yenko/SC® 800hp Camaro was featured in the February 2017 issue of the duPont Registry, so, imagine seeing the Yenko/SC® Corvette on the cover of such an august publication. Not that we’re surprised; because the Yenko/SC® Corvette is a top-notch supercar, so it’s only fitting to be counted among such an elite class of vehicles, especially the ones on the cover—Dodge Demon, Plymouth Superbird, and Yenko/SC® Corvette.

There have been many cars produced under the Yenko name: Camaro, Nova, Stinger (Corvair), but never an official Corvette. Yes, there have been many Corvettes sold through the Yenko dealership, and some may have even been specially tuned at that location, or may even sport a Yenko badge, but there has never been an official Yenko/SC® Corvette ever produced, until now.

It’s every automotive enthusiast’s dream to come upon a barn find. Back in the day, someone would literally find untouched classics in barns that had been forgotten by time for decades. Finding cars in an actual barn is rare these days—they’re more like “garage finds”, but everything else is still the same. So, imagine the excitement William Avila felt when he opened up a garage one day to reveal not one, but two 1987 Buick Grand Nationals—both with under 1000 miles, sequentially numbered. They’re essentially twins! However, they weren’t perfectly preserved, as William explains to GM EFI Magazine:

1991 Camaro Convertible - LS1 Third-Gen

When starting a new classic car project, there are a number of choices to make. Some owners choose to restore every nut and bolt to factory spec, ending up with a vehicle that looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Jeromey Campbell, of Huntington Beach, California, was looking for something more distinctive when he started work on this 1991 Camaro Z28 convertible.

72 Firebird Restomod - Nostalgia

One of the biggest draws of classic car restoration is the nostalgia factor. There's something truly awesome about finally being able to own that car you always wanted in high school, or being able to buy back the vehicle you wish you never sold. For most of us, these classic cars are more than simple transportation, they're the fulfillment of our dreams. That's why we knew exactly what Michael Lara meant when he said this '72 Firebird is his "lifelong love".
