It is a 1965 Chevy II 400 hardtop with new quarters, trunk, and fenders from Classic Industries as well as the complete interior kit. Much of the small trim pieces and chrome have been purchased from Classic as well. It has a 355 small block with 11.5:1 compression and dart heads, with an Edelbrock air gap intake and Holley 670 four barrel carb. A B&M TH350 transmission with 10 bolt Eaton posi rear end transfers all that power quite well. It has coil over suspension front and rear with four link in the back. There are disc brakes in the front. It uses Hooker fenderwell headers and a three-inch exhaust system. The Chevy II is lowered around 2-1/2 inches all around on weld wheels.

However, certain vehicles are so rare that their prices automatically reach well into the six-figure range. The Yenko Nova is one such car. Less than 10 of the 427ci-V8-powered Yenko/SC 427 Novas are known to exist today, and these originals go for $500,000 or more if you manage to find one for sale. Knowing this, Doug Watt decided to build his standard 1969 Nova into an affordable Yenko/SC 427 "tribute" car.

A few weeks ago, we shared an article from our friends at All Chevy Performance magazine that provided a step-by-step guide to replacing the side window glass on a '63 Chevy II. This was one more step in their frame-off resto-mod of the car, which features a supercharged LS engine and countless other upgrades. But, as many of us know, it's important to address the finer details with a project like this. So, once the side windows were replaced, the All Chevy Performance team also showed how to replace the windshield and rear window using parts from Classic Industries.

Unless you're fortunate enough to be the original owner of your classic car, it's likely that you may find some repairs or restoration done by the previous owner.
