New for 2016: Classic Industries Search Feature Updates

Here at Classic Industries, we are always looking to provide superior service, and help you find the restoration and performance parts you need for your classic car or truck. Searching for these parts should be fast and easy, so we've been working hard to make major improvements to our ClassicIndustries.com search feature. These improvements make searching for parts much more intuitive, allowing you to quickly find the parts you're looking for.

That said, here's a list of some of the search feature updates we've added for 2016. Next time you search for restoration parts on our web site, keep these new tips and tricks in mind!

1969 Camaro Convertible - Complete Restoration

Seeing a beautifully-restored classic Camaro always makes us smile, because we know that it took a lot of hard work to get it looking brand new again. That's certainly the case with Jay Arter's white 1969 Camaro convertible, seen here. Jay has owned the car for 23 years, and to say it was rough when he bought it would be an understatement.

1969 Charger 500 - Rare MOPAR

The science of aerodynamics is closely intertwined with the history of automotive design, especially when it comes to race cars. By the late 1960s, the high-banked NASCAR oval tracks were becoming more competitive, and manufacturers were looking to improve lap times by reducing their vehicles' drag coefficients.

1967 Impala SS - Cool Blue Cruiser

We love classic cars, whether they're factory-style restorations, fuel-injected restomod muscle cars, or old-school customs. This gorgeous blue 1967 Impala SS falls into the third category—it's a cool throwback to a different time.

1956 Bel Air Restoration - From the Ground Up

Here at Classic Industries, we love to see what customers can do with the restoration parts we offer. Sometimes, they simply put the finishing touches on project vehicles that are nearly complete—other times, they rebuild classic cars from the ground up using parts from our catalogs. Daniel Brito, of Montebello, California, falls into the second category. His stunning 1956 Bel Air started out as a $500 husk of its former glory, but he restored the car over the last 15 years, leaving it in the beautiful condition seen here.

1969 Kingswood Wagon - Old-School Family Hauler

Back in 1969, the term "SUV" didn't exist, and even the concept of the minivan was still in its infancy. At that time, if you wanted a vehicle to transport your family and all their belongings in a single vehicle, you looked to the venerable station wagon. These long, low-slung vehicles combined the practicality of a sedan (like the Chevy Impala) with the spaciousness of a full-size truck (like the Chevy Suburban).

1969 Camaro Convertible - Drop-Top Cruisin'

This stunning 1969 Camaro convertible rolled up to our Retail Showroom, and its cool blue paint caught our attention immediately, sparkling in the California sun. So, we walked out to chat with the owner, Monte Greenspan, of Anaheim, California. Monte was happy to show us the car, and tell us a little more about its story.

1973 Camaro Z28 - Customized Monster

What's bright green, bulging with muscle, and exudes pure aggression? Comic book and movie fans will probably reply "The Incredible Hulk", and they wouldn't be wrong. However, in this case, there's another answer to this question: Mike Williams' 1973 Camaro Z28. This heavily-customized Chevy looks seriously ticked off and ready to smash the opposition.

1974 Duster - Mopar Family

We always enjoy seeing the enthusiasm for classic cars passed down from generation to generation. This family trait ensures these vehicles are valued and cared for as they should be, even after being passed on from one owner to the next. The story of this 1974 Duster reinforces our thoughts on the subject.

1969 Chevy C10 - Home-Built Project Truck

Here at Classic Industries, we like to see projects in all stages of completion. Sometimes we'll see customer cars that are still covered in cobwebs after being rescued from a dark garage, and other times we'll come across builds that are completed and polished down to every last detail. It's all part of the classic car restoration process.
