Each year, the SEMA Show packs the Las Vegas Convention Center full of some of the world's finest custom cars and trucks, and the 2014 show is certainly no exception. Walking the show, we have come across some truly jaw-dropping works of automotive art, many of which feature restoration and performance parts from Classic Industries. And, since the show isn't open to the general public, we're doing our best to share some of these amazing rides with you..

If you've been following this blog, our Facebook page, or Street Rodder magazine in the last few months, you'll no doubt recognize the gorgeous 1959 Impala seen here. The bright red car was rescued from the deserts of Arizona by Street Rodder, and restored to stunning condition inside and out. Best of all, it wasn't just built to look good—this car was built to go fast.

The '59 is powered by a modern 427ci LS engine producing 622hp and 620lb-ft of torque mated to a built 4L80E automatic transmission. Rather than focus on straight line speed, the Road Tour Impala was built on a high-tech Roadster Shop Fast Track chassis with independent front and rear suspension. Stopping power comes from Wilwood disc brakes, which hide behind vintage-style Circle Racing wheels. The wheels, 19x10 in front and 20x12 in the rear, are shod in ultra-sticky Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The exterior was painted PPG Ferrari Red, and of course, topped off with lighting and trim parts from Classic Industries.

We're glad to have helped out with this incredible build, and happy to see it all come together. Check out the photos below, and see for yourself—this '59 is one-of-a-kind.
